Stepping up from the FortiGate VM04V to the FortiGate VM08V moves threat-protection throughput from 2.0 Gbps to 3.5 Gbps (1.8×), IPS throughput from 8.0 Gbps / 3.0 Gbps to 15.5 Gbps / 6.0 Gbps (1.9×) and NGFW throughput from 2.5 Gbps to 4.5 Gbps (1.8×).
