FortiSwitch 124G
Twenty-four multi-gigabit ports and six 10 Gigabit uplinks, fanless.
Multi-Gigabit to Every Desk
Gigabit to the desk has been the default for twenty years, and Wi-Fi is what broke it: a modern access point can saturate a Gigabit port on its own. The 124G makes 2.5 Gigabit the access speed across all twenty-four ports with six 10 Gigabit uplinks behind it, and does it without a fan.
Managed as an Extension of the Firewall
A FortiSwitch can run standalone, but the reason to buy one alongside a FortiGate is FortiLink: the switch becomes a logical extension of the firewall, so ports, VLANs and network access control are configured in the same console as the security policy. That removes the usual split between the team that owns the switch and the team that owns the firewall, and it is why NAC on these switches costs nothing extra.
