The 30G is built on the patented SD-WAN ASIC, which delivers performance beyond a general-purpose CPU at lower cost and reduced power consumption, and is centrally managed alongside the rest of the estate from FortiManager.

Hardware Built for Small Sites

A Trusted Platform Module hardens the appliance by generating, storing and authenticating cryptographic keys. FortiLink lets a FortiSwitch be managed as a logical extension of the firewall, and the FortiLink-enabled port can be reconfigured as a regular port when it is not needed. The chassis is small, light and fanless, so it can sit on a desk or be wall-mounted in a cupboard without noise or airflow planning.
